Walmart Makes the Holiday Special for Patients at Cincinnati Children’s

The magic of Christmas came to Cincinnati Children’s on December 4th in the form of Santa and his elves from Walmart Market 225. The team brought hundreds of toys to donate to families who are spending the holiday in the hospital. Elf volunteers took photos with Santa and helped kids pick out toys. The donation has made such an impact on families and their kids, this would not be possible without their support, said Natalie Gerano, Donor Relations Cincinnati Children’s. Walmart hosts an in-store Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Campaign where they raise money at their registers for Cincinnati Children’s. This year they raised over $130,000 for equipment, education, programs and research.

We are thankful for the philanthropic culture that Walmart embraces. Their support of kids in their local communities is admirable. Special thanks to Market 225 for sharing the holiday with our patients.
