Sharefax Shares Its Passion

A Personal Mission

For many employees at Sharefax Credit Union, they don’t have to look far to see the direct impact of a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) hospital.

“Sharefax came to the decision to make CMN our primary charitable fundraiser after realizing just how many of our employees’ lives had been touched by Cincinnati Children’s,” said Art Kremer, president of Sharefax Credit Union. “Those of us who have experienced the great work at Cincinnati Children’s, understand when your child needs serious medical help, there is no better place in the world than a CMN hospital.”

Raising Support

Sharefax Credit Union has been showing their support through Credit Unions for Kids, a cooperative effort to raise funds and awareness for CMN hospitals for many years. Each year, branches spend time hosting grill outs and jeans days, selling chocolate bars, conducting branch races and much more, all benefitting Cincinnati Children’s, the company’s local CMN hospital.

“Our employees are excited each year when the new fundraising campaigns are announced and always set a goal to exceed the total amount raised from the preceding year,” Kremer said.

A Record Year

Through their Shop for Miracles participation and their relationship with CO-OP Financial, the funds raised on this day last year were matched. In 2019, their combined effort raised more than $19,000 for Cincinnati Children’s to support research, education, equipment and charitable care for families in need.

“We could not be more proud of our partnership with CMN,” Kremer added. “We are committed to doing our part in helping children to continue experiencing miracles at our CMN hospitals.”
