Children’s Hospitals Week honors La Mega 97.7 DJ with Hispanic Radio Person of the Year Award

Daniel Melendez, Program Director at TSJ Media, was awarded Hispanic Radio Person of the Year at this year’s Children’s Hospitals Week (March 18-22nd). He received this honor because of his unwavering support of Hispanic Radiothons in the Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland markets.

The “For the Kids” Radiothon for Cincinnati Children’s helps raise much needed funds for the Comprehensive Children’s Injury Center, which helps Hispanic families through safety education and awareness as well as safety equipment. Daniel has volunteered his time for several years hosting the event as our main DJ. He is the first person at the event and the last to leave. His dedication to the success of the event is amazing. Congratulations, Daniel, on this well-deserved award!
