Change Kids’ Health with Dairy Queen® in Cincinnati!

Throughout the year, DQ® fans make a difference in how Cincinnati Children’s cares for kids through their support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. DQ® doesn’t just have food and treats that put a smile on your face– DQ® creates meaningful moments for kids and families in our community.

From June 1 – July 24, participating DQ® locations invite you to buy a balloon and provide needed funds for local member hospitals to help bring health and hope for kids treated in Cincinnati. These efforts culminate in the sweetest celebration of the year, Miracle Treat Day, on July 25th!

Children are at the center of everything we do and building a strong foundation for their
tomorrow starts today. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals see what the future can be,
and with support from you and DQ®, we can fund the most urgent needs at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

Your donations help Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals support the health of kids like Anna Grace. Anna Grace was born with a limb difference in her foot and several inches of bone length were missing from her left leg. Anna Grace’s mom, Wynne, was adopting her at two years of age when she was told her daughter might never walk. But, shortly after meeting in China, Wynne discovered the then 27-month-old could crawl with great speed on her knees, indicating that she may be able to eventually walk. So, she made it her mission to ensure her daughter could live life to her fullest potential.

Two months after coming home with her mom, Anna Grace underwent surgery at her local member children’s hospital, and just 10 days later, Anna Grace was in her prosthesis and taking her first steps. And she hasn’t slowed down since! Today, Anna Grace is an active 12-year-old, and although she does need physical therapy for her lifelong condition, it doesn’t stop her from playing soccer, riding her bike, and swimming.

Thanks to donations, Anna Grace has benefitted from cutting edge physical therapy equipment
and prosthetics at Cincinnati Children’s. She has big plans for her future including wanting to run a camp for kids with limb differences and be a motivational speaker one day. Anna Grace knows the importance for kids with prosthetics to be seen; to know they do anything and be the best they can be.

Visit a participating DQ® and give today by purchasing a coupon balloon at the register, so Cincinnati Children’s can continue helping our children lead healthy, fulfilling lives, while also bringing joy and happiness tomorrow.

When we change kids’ health, we change the future – for all of us.
