Walmart Goes The Distance for Kids

When Cincinnati Children’s decided to reinvent its popular walk event by adding a 5K and debuting the hospital’s inaugural Go The Distance race, Walmart Market 225 generously stepped up to the starting line to show its support.

The fun kicked off at Paul Brown Stadium on September 15. Walmart associates, led by David Seymore, hosted a sponsor booth where they gave out goodie bags to race participants and their families while promoting Walmart’s popular grocery pickup service.

Together with Walmart, Cincinnati Children’s is able to help kids and families who are counting on world-renowned treatment and research.

Walmart, a longtime Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals partner, also hosts a five-week in-store campaign featuring donation options at all registers. The 20 local stores that support Cincinnati Children’s raised $208,735 in 2018. The 2019 campaign is June 10-July 7.
