BearcatTHON: Dancing For A Cause

The dance floor was busier than ever at University of Cincinnati for the latest BearcatTHON. Students joined together for a day of moving, grooving and fun all to help kids and families. The record-breaking fundraising total of $83,333.69 this year surpassed last year’s total of $58,029 by more than $20,000.

“We’ve seen this event grow in size and strength every year since its inception in 2013,” said Natalie Gerano with Cincinnati Children’s and the Children’s Miracle Network. “We all are so thankful for these students who are making so many miracles happen for Cincinnati kids through their hard work and dedication.”

BearcatTHON keeps dancers engaged and entertained throughout the entire event by strategically pushing in-event fundraising and featuring lots of stories and appearances from inspiring kids and patient families.

“By increasing these factors from year to year and having a strong leadership team in place, we know we’ll see this program continue to grow and break new fundraising records each year,” added Jessica Fitzpatrick also with Cincinnati Children’s and the Children’s Miracle Network.
